Restrap – the UK made bag, bike packing and cycling accessories brand have just added two new items to their range. Restrap makes all their items in-house in their own workshop in Leeds. They make everything from backpacks, bike packs, panniers, saddlebags, hip bags and much more. Have a look at their website to see the full range. For their new release, they have produced a fork pack and a tool roll.
The new fork bag has 5 litres of storage and is 100% waterproof with a tried and tested roll-top design that will keep the contents dry no matter what the terrain throws at it. It’s compatible with most fork cages, the four loops down the front give different variations of attachability. It’s made from 1000D Cordura and Hypalon fabric covering the base gives it some rigidity and helps it grip against the fork cage. The bag alone without a cage weighs in at 172g. The cage Restrap has used in their images is from Blackburn.
A very stylish accessory to take on every ride for when the mechanicals happen. The tool roll can be easily attached under your saddle with the help of a Fidlock magnetic buckle or easily slipped into a jersey pocket. It’s made from tough Hypalon fabric. It has enough room to store a variety of size tubes, a CO2 cartridge, tyre levers, multi-tool and a small pouch for chainlinks. It weighs 90 g and measures 10cm wide x 15cm high when folded and 30cm wide and 20cm high when folded out.
